This seller account health score is much more than a simple indicator, it’s a strategic dashboard that measures policy compliance and customer experience, while directly influencing the ability to sell on the platform.
The Account Health Rating, which tracks TikTok Shop’s level of compliance and respect for rules, complements another indicator to be closely monitored, the Shop Performance Score (SPS ), which assesses the quality of the seller’s operational performance (order management, logistics, customer satisfaction).

What is the Account Health Rating (AHR) on TikTok Shop?

The Account Health Rating (AHR) is a score that TikTok Shop assigns to a seller account. It aims to assess the overall quality of the business in terms of compliance with the platform’s policies and the experience offered to users. Available since the beginning of July 2025 in France, the AHR measures in priority:

  • Compliance with TikTok Shop rules and policies
  • The overall risk level of your account
  • Risks to the user experience

In other words, it’s an indicator of your “commercial health” on TikTok Shop. A good AHR shows that you respect the rules and are a reliable seller, while a poor AHR signals shortcomings that could harm buyers or the platform’s reputation.

Why does TikTok Shop use AHR?

TikTok Shop is a marketplace integrated within an ultra-popular social network. To protect its users and guarantee a safe and pleasant shopping experience, TikTok needs to ensure that its sellers comply with its standards.
The AHR therefore serves to :

How does Account Health Rating work?

The AHR score is calculated automatically every day and ranges from 0 to 1,000 points. Sellers can improve their score through perfect orders (orders with no policy or performance problems), but can lose points for violations.
All new sellers start at 200 points by default, and can accumulate more points through perfect orders.

Here’s how it works:

  • Maximum score = 1000 points.
  • The seller starts from 200 and his score drops if he violates TikTok Shop policies.
  • Infractions are assessed and penalized according to their seriousness.

TikTok Shop applies point deductions for rule violations. Each reported or confirmed violation results in a loss of points proportional to its severity. Logically, minor violations involve small deductions and serious violations larger deductions. Furthermore, the more the same violation is repeated, the more severe the penalties will be for each additional violation.
As violations accumulate, a seller’s score can fall dangerously close to a critical threshold.

Examples of penalties based on AHR score on TikTok Shop

Salespeople’s AHR scores can be affected by multiple policy violations. When the AHR score is too low, sanctions may be applied to their account.

AHR, a global indicator in Europe

All the positive and negative behaviors taken into account for the customer satisfaction rate are calculated at European Union level, and the seller’s customer satisfaction score applies to all its European stores. In other words, if a seller has stores in several European markets, he will obtain a single customer satisfaction score, with all his stores taken into account. His score will be impacted upwards and downwards on all of them.

What should I do if TikTok Shop reports a violation?

The TikTok store informs sellers of any enforcement action concerning their AHR score by e-mail and in your Seller Center inbox. We therefore recommend that you check your e-mail and your Seller Center inbox once a day, so that you can react quickly in the event of a violation.
To do this, go to the Account Health assessment page in the Seller Center as soon as you are informed of a violation, to find out what action to take.

  • If the violation has a “Show” button, this means that you have been warned but no corrective action has been taken, or that the appeal or correction period has closed. Click on it to find out more about the policy violated and what you can do to avoid a recurrence.
  • If the violation has a “View and Appeal”, “View and Correct” or “View and Appeal/Correct” button, click on it to find out more about the violation, the supporting documents you need to provide or the steps you need to take to appeal or correct the violation.
