{"id":11278,"date":"2021-12-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.effinity.fr\/blog\/google-deals-a-new-opportunity-to-generate-traffic-and-conversions\/"},"modified":"2025-04-20T11:14:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-20T09:14:12","slug":"google-deals-a-new-opportunity-to-generate-traffic-and-conversions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.effinity.fr\/en\/blog\/google-deals-a-new-opportunity-to-generate-traffic-and-conversions\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Deals, a new opportunity to generate traffic and conversions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google is introducing a new &#8220;Offer&#8221; feature in the shopping tab to help advertisers present their promotions and offers more easily, especially with the arrival of the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>Other additions, in the Merchant Center, complement Google Deals, to help advertisers more easily manage their promotions, sales and product price drops; but also to improve user experience and transformation.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the &#8220;Deals&#8221; feature?<\/h2>\n<p>All products with an &#8220;Offer&#8221; badge can now be automatically displayed in a new feed in the &#8220;Shopping&#8221; tab of search results.<\/p>\n<p>This new feed appears when a user performs a generic search related to an offer or sales event, such as &#8220;offers&#8221; or &#8220;black friday&#8221;, or when they select &#8220;Offers&#8221; from the drop-down menu in the &#8220;Purchasing&#8221; tab.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27500%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20500%20500%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27500%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/www.effinity.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/deals_for_you_google.gif\" alt=\"deals_for_you_google\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p>How do I set up a Google Deal?<\/p>\n<p>In the Google Merchant Center, you can now see which products are eligible for the &#8220;offer&#8221; badge. Eligibility is based on promotions, sale prices and\/or price cuts for products in the feed. <\/p>\n<p>Advertisers will also have access to a new dashboard in the merchant center presenting the performance of products that have received this badge. Several metrics will be presented, such as impressions, click-through rates and number of clicks, with the option of segmenting the analysis by promotion type, product, brand and category.
